SQPA™ — Site Quality Performance Audit

A 7-day on-site diagnostic that measures how your quality system actually performs at the workface — not how it reads in the manual.

How it works

One senior auditor. Seven days. Your live workface.

We sample live welding, coating, dimensional and documentation activities against your own ITPs and procedures — interviewing the people doing the work and checking the records behind the signatures.

The output is a scored performance report your management can act on immediately: what is working, what is exposed, and what to fix first.

Day 2–3Workface surveillance and personnel interviews
Day 4–5Records sampling: welding, NDT, coating, dimensional

Common questions

SQPA™ — frequently asked

What is a Site Quality Performance Audit (SQPA™)?

SQPA™ is a seven-day independent audit that measures how your quality system performs at the workface rather than on paper. A senior auditor samples live welding, coating, dimensional and documentation activities against your own ITPs and procedures, then issues a scored report, a prioritised corrective action plan and a close-out presentation to management.

How long does it take, and what does it disrupt?

Seven days on site with one senior auditor. Work continues normally — the audit samples activities already in progress and uses short interviews with the people performing the work, so production is not stopped.

What is the difference between third-party inspection and client representation?

Third-party inspection verifies specific equipment or activities against a specification and issues a release. Client representation places a representative at the vendor or site continuously on your behalf — witnessing tests, verifying progress claims, managing nonconformities and reporting directly to your project team.

Which disciplines and certifications are covered?

Welding and NDT (CSWIP, AWS CWI, PCN), coating (NACE/AMPP), mechanical and rotating equipment, electrical and instrumentation, and civil and structural, together with lead-auditor qualified quality auditing.

Is SQPA™ a one-off audit or a recurring programme?

Both. It is available as a one-off diagnostic and as a recurring quarterly programme for projects that need continuous independent assurance across the construction phase.
